The idea of nutrition as a means to good health and vitality is well established. Hippocrates, the father of medicine, said, “Let food be your medicine.” Various Greek writers commented on the nutrition of Olympic athletes of their times. In recent years, there have been significant advances in the understanding of the role of many nutrients in support of overall good health, positive vitality, disease prevention, and preserving youth. There is much scientific effort devoted to this field.

Based on that science, Magnolia Health Care and Dr. Quaye provide nutritional evaluation and therapies for a variety of health and wellness needs. Our goal with this holistic approach is to promote good health and positive vitality as a higher standard than  the mere absence of disease, and our services cover many medical conditions as well as support for healthy adults seeking to achieve optimum wellness. Our recommendations are based in the scientific body of knowledge about human physiology, backed by functional lab testing. The approach of Dr. Emmanuel Quaye, refers to the current state of the science for guidance to how to optimize health through diet and nutritional support, and he is responsible for tailoring the nutritional programs to patients to satisfy their individual needs.

The foundation for our nutritional approach is based on several diets developed by experts at the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). Beyond that we make recommendations as we see fit, for several nutritional supplements to meet patients' health needs.
